The design for this family involved the redevelopment of the existing cottage with new deck and pool in the backyard. The existing cottage contains the living spaces and new structure was designed for the front of the block to provide a new garage and more bedrooms. The two buildings are linked with a glazed portico to allow views to the garden and to allow staged construction of the whole project.
